Smile

Each time I pass by near sinangag express on my way to work,
I always see these group of guys, college guys I think,
as if they already know I’d pass there everyday.
And I can hear their remarks, “She’s here! She’s here.!
I looked at them and see their faces, it’s good to know,
they’re not rude, and not too fresh, I can hear them saying,
‘What’s her name?”
For the first time, I gave them my smile, and
from that point I can see all their reactions, like wow…!

I said to myself, see what a smile can do?

Maybe I should start smiling now…to people who deserves it

What is a classic beauty?

-It’s when pretty girls come and go,
and still at the end of the day,
you’re still the one that glows,
the one that shines, even when you shyly hide.

That’s a classic beauty.

In my country, the bullies are the ugly and insecure ones.

I miss surprises

I love surprises, pleasant ones.

Been a long time since I got a surprise from
secret admirers.
I like secret admirers, I like the thrill.

I got flowers and candies  from them in
the past , some they revealed their identities,
some didn’t.

I love guessing who it is from. And the more
thrilling it would be if  I have a hard time
unveiling their identities.

who got hurt the most?

Mom used to have a project.
Me and Harry.
A project dad doesn’t even know.
And that project I destroyed in her face…
 and Harry’s face.
And that project was the reason why I damaged
my relationship with my family.
A project mom so wanted for years.

Sorry I ruined your project mom, it was never
meant to be.

I wish she realize now, who got hurt the most.
Cos it’s not me.

And why should it matter to her?

A girlfriend asked me, 

“How would you know when a man is rejecting you or is not interested in you?”

Simple.

-it’s when you’re the most beautiful girl in a big party with the sexiest and prettiest dress and even the girls admire you and still, he’s eyeing someone else.
-it’s when he dances with your girlfriend and he tells her you’re so beautiful tonight , I’m falling inlove in you.
-it’s when he push a guy to you, or he gives you to some other guy
-it’s when, you ask him to dance and he says he’s dancing with some other girl
-it’s when he tells everyone he loves a girl, and that girl is not you.

NOW. How simple and obvious can that be?

 I had this caller, he bragged about men  in america , they don’t  marry american women anymore, they marry women in my country.

I was close to telling him…

“Yeah, But look at the kind of girls here you guys want to marry. Those are the ones trained by their family since elementary to hook foreigners like you, hanging on only one hope to get them out of poverty .
They probably had hook-a-foreigner-101-course for that!

But I can’t blame the guy, most american women are too tough and too feisty and whatever happened to the good old sweet caressing?

strenght is in the heart

Jamie and I were discussing on how she reacts to issues, personal and work-related issues. I made her talk. I listened and analyzed.

As  she said this one line.

[ I was thinking she’d refer to the usual dependence on a male figure
( boyfriend ) or the mom ],

“At the end of the day, I go back to this one person that I can really rely on…ME.”

I said, “That’s a good one James, at the end of the day, you realize you’re actually strong.”

You see her as fragile and innocent.
But the strenght is in the heart.

free ride

I’m generous to those who badly need it. To the hopeless.
But to people with brains and capacity to survive life, I’ll not allow them to use me, I’m not a bank and don’t you find freebies people disgusting?

Identity crisis

On wannabes, and people with identity crisis…

Look at it this way…

Would you buy a class A imitation BVLGARI necklace for 10k?
Do you know it’s value?
It’s just like owning a 24k GOLD-PLATED necklace.

Instead of a second best form of someone else, just be the best form of yourself.
Be unique. So you CAN’T tell yourself one day to stop living a lie—
The trick is , to accept what you got and to accept you can’t win ‘em all!

The worst thing is, when you are you’re own worst enemy.

A game too dense

One game a guy play that does not work for me… and I never buy it…

Is when he makes you get jealous by letting you see he’s flirting with other girls.

I can’t dig it. Where does it say in my personality that it should work for me?

This game is too dense.
It’ll make me want to bail out more.
It’s the one thing to blow the whole thing off.

Who would you want it to be?

When you are online (msn, ym) …whose name do you look for first?
When a slow song comes on the radio…
whose face comes to your mind first?
When you hear your phone ringing,
who do you hope it is calling?
Whose name makes your heart skip a beat?

And don’t you just wish, whoever you wish it would be,
would be wishing it would be you he’s longing for too?

Do I make you stand so tall?

If I could make someone stand so tall…

It only means two things…

I like the person, or I’m making this person feel there’s a good man/woman in him/her, which this person might have ignored in some ways, for being too busy finding love in others.

Find time to love yourself first.

            ( now you’re obliged to always smell good frankie! )
Roda—- My “sister” , stay crazy!
Chris—- the “emily rose” laughter is legendary! 
And who can beat you as the CE (crazy engineer!) here? PEACE girl!
Ellie—- my other drama queen friend (he he he), miss you!
Terri—- my beauty-conscious friend, hey! we remain friends!
Michelle- stay with me for just one cup of coffee, though I don’t drink it,I
would, just to get inside you’re interesting mind. I’m sure I’d end up
not getting just one cup.
Jamie—- My TL–the coolest and a professional, her approach is so kind it
makes me wanna do things beyond my scope of work–

Accept

I was amazed by Jamie’s confession about this person she used to really dislike, she became close to this person for one simple reason…

Jamie accepted the person’s personality for what it’s worth…

If only everybody thinks that way… I didn’t know this about Jamie…but it somehow got me thinking.

That we should accept someone for who the person is,

not for what we want the person to be.

Men’s scent I prefer

There’s this scent for men that I really like…
At  least this scent does not remind me of my dad, since he doesn’t use it… thank God!

This scent… If a guy wears it, it makes me feel like falling inlove with him, especially if he’s already handsome and sexy and wears the kind of shirts and jeans I prefer…

That would make him almost perfect…

My take on cheating?

IT comes as a surprise again, but…

Let the men do the cheating, still.
Women shouldn’t cheat.
When he cheats, don’t cheat back… LEAVE… rest your heart…heal… then, as you’re ready to go into another relationship… go ahead, start new.

This is the 21st century…still society can’t take a cheating woman, it’s a double standard, but … that’s the way it has been, and will be…. still.

I know there are moments when I’m like a vacuum that sucks out the energy in people…

But I always get into trouble when it happens…

When they feel strained when I’m around, it only means two things…
