ego-boosting

I hate ego-boosting. It's a waste of time.
When I praise, it must be true.
When I criticize, it's most true.
But i can boost the egos of people
with attention deficit syndrome, just to make
them realize they do have something too, but not
to make monsters out of them, or to make them vain.
